Goof section says no cable in 1973.
I had cable as early as 1971, not many channels offered.
Cable-ready tv popular until systems required inside box for reception.

I doubt it was availabe in the UK in 1971. Though i didn't notice the cable box myself, but I don't think i would recognise one if i saw it.
