*Sigh*. Behold, a superhero Selene kicking everyone's CGI ass in front of a green screen... Yawn. As if Selene wasn't overpowered already in the previous movie, now they literally give her some fairy tale superpowers. "Impossible! There's nothing stopping her now!". What's the point of all this? There's zero entertainment in watching this superhero mess, it's like playing a video game on the easiest difficulty while using cheat codes. You already know the ending - she will defeat the bad guy and the credits will roll. Add a bunch of cliche cringe scenes in between and that's the entire movie.

I actually really liked Underworld 1-2-3. The 4th one was a big sticking pile of sh!t, and this one look just as bad. What a shame. The franchise went downhill just like the Resident Evil movies, both started out great and then they ruined it.

The only reason to watch this mess is to jerk off to a smoking hot Kate Beckinsale wearing a skin tight leather. But that's as far as it goes.

Speak for yourself because those weren't my takes on the new trailer. I'll wait until I judge if she is too powerful, besides the werewolves are usually still stronger.

Poesy, i do understand where you're coming and i guess i do agree (regarding Selene & her powers, etc.) but i still love these movies. i actually love how Selene is basically omnipotent/god-like (or Godess-lke) and unstoppable (for the most part). but i also love the RES EVIL movies (not including RETRIBUTION which was atrocious) so i know my tastes are different from yours. it's been said (maybe unofficially?) that this will be Kate's last UW movie, so i'm ok with her new unmatched powers/strengths she seems be be getting in this movie.
