How much does Kate make?

Bu54Lb, you know i love Kate and especially her in the role of Selene but i don't think she was all entirely into these UW films since EVOLUTION. ever since she made that (i'm paraphrasing somewhat) "I DON'T WANT TO PLAY SEX BOMB ROLES ANYMORE" heavily implying (from what i remember) she was referring to Selene/UW.

don't get me wrong, Kate is the consummate professional and it's clear she puts 100% of herself in this role (in the bonus features on the BR it shows her hard work) but i never really felt like Kate is really all that UBER-enthusiastic about being in them (unlike Milla J. who, not so much including THE FINAL CHAPTER, without a doubt overtly excited/into making the RE films). i think Kate has, for most part, always wanted more non-horror/blood/gore/action-ish types of roles hence her barely registering excitement at being in this franchise. i remember video interviews/promotions (she was doing for a non-UNDERWORLD film...i think it was WHITE OUT) where she was asked about her possibly being in any more UW films and (for both AWAKENING and BLOOD WARS apparently) she was IMO very "I DON'T REALLY THINK I'M DOING ANYMORE UW FILMS"....but that could have been worded that way as a means of her being paid properly (something that many actors/actresses to, which is smart of her to do).

i'm rambling here. sorry about that. even if Kate's doing these last couple of UW films is more of a "cash grab" rather than her passion for the role/the franchise, i have no problem with that. she's still great in them. there's nothing wrong in making money. :)

She's making way more than a million. That's chump change. She's a big actress with a new worth of 16 mill. She didn't get all that signing tv appearance size money deals.
