The David/Semira fight sequence was awesome!
IMO is was choreographed/filmed/blocked really well. also i loved how David killed Semira. that was a great moment in the film. the people in theater were clapping and like "YEAH!".

shareMy guess is that it depends on the specific cut. Viktor may have been lucky to survive Lucian's attack, or David just gotten a lucky hit. Otherwise, you're right that Semira should have survived that.
shareThe writers suck as they could have explained it better, but if you get the implication of what happen to Michael with Marius taking his blood involuntary that the effects of having blood on that basis only lasts so long if it is not given voluntarily with a blessing. Remember in Awakening, Quint had to keep getting shots from Eve's DNA to keep his enhanced powers. So in conclusion Semira enhanced power from Selene's blood was temporary and her powers were quickly drained when she was exposed to the sun and impaled at the same time.

you are comparing two very different injuries. Victor was stabbed in the mouth with the blade exiting at an angle behind his jaw. Not a fatal wound but still a significant injury. On the other hand Semira was stabbed straight through the back of her head and out the mouth, severing her brain stem from her spinal cord. A Fatal wound. share
