need better weapons

seems like nothing have changed since the first film,the battles are getting rather stale with guns and the occasional melee with swords. With the progress of technology they could have invented more effective weapons in Blood Wars, something like a grenade that explode with silver shrapnels or some sort of UV bombs by the lycans.
