How could Selene be incapacitated?

if Marius and David is immune to all those bullets being shot at them but Selene cant deal with a cut?

the knife that cut her had someone kind of poison in them

uh yeah I heard them mention nightshade, didnt realise its some sort of poison.

You heard them mention nightshade yet you didn't hear them mention how lethal it can be? Do you only watch half of a movie or something?

You're right on the bullets though. She was shot a half a dozen times in the north, but they tore through her like she was nothing. Part of the reason David is so strong -at least how they make it seem- was because of her blood, so it doesn't make sense why the source was weaker than the byproduct.

What bugs me is they keep amping her up. They're turning her into a vampiric Superman, just adding more and more super powers. It's getting a little bit ridiculous, no?

Keep in mind, Selene spent much of the film giving up on her will to go on, she wanted to die.
