I, for one, thought he delivered an excellent performance. He was all suave and cool like. This may even be a game changer for him.

Howie Mandel was not in this movie :/ I think you're confusing him with Christian Berkel who played Robert?

Had to google this Mandel of yours. I guess i can see the resemblance.

People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs
