Huppert nominated for Oscar!

Glad to see that Isabelle Huppert is getting Hollywood / English-language recognition for her talents.

I would say that in this movie, Ms. Huppert brings her - remarkable, yes, though - typical stoic character and performance, well-practiced through the years.



POSSIBLE SPOILER......

The difference in "Elle" is that she is not the lone off-balance, tortured soul. In this movie, she plays the lead whacko in a cast of whackos.

I disagree. I think Huppert is highly overrated and seems to play the same role, over and over again. Her delivery is always the same. Very boring actress, imo.
