Robert make the comment that Michelle's breasts have gotten bigger... a throw away line or a clue that she might be pregnant? and then it is never mentioned again. I know she is supposed to be in her (early?)Fifties, but women are having babies later and later in life, and no mention of menopause. Am I reading too much into this?

Huppert is actually 63, and her the actress who played her mother is actually 90! Hard to imagine for the mother!! At any rate, both play characters much younger.
Didnt she also mention she was late on her cycle?
shareDidn't notice that but it seemed like once when she was raped she was covered in blood so might have had her period. Isabelle Huppert does looks much younger than her age (botox or?) still a pregnancy at her age would not be likely even if she was supposed to be 49 not 65.
One unbelievable thing: every time the rapist beat her up, he slugged her in the face. She only ever had a facial bruise once.
No botox, just good genes. Her forehead was natural if you compare to Kidman.
shareI'd love to think that but she's a redhead and the skin of redheads doesn't age well. She seemed to be photographed with vaseline on the lense (do they still do that?). She looks great though whether naturally or surgically. Nicole Kidman looks like a baby's bum now. Are you familiar with Isabelle Adjani (who is Huppert's age)? She also went the baby's bum route decades ago. Looks like her face is going to explode.

She looked post-monopausal age to me, but she was able to use the "I'm on my period" excuse with her lover and he believed it, so theoretically she could still be able to get pregnant.
But if she was still fertile why would she not be using condoms with Robert?
If she was pregnant, it could easily be Robert's baby, not the rapist. But I can't imagine she would keep it either way.
