Most older men don't try to date them, especially if they're the adopted daughter of their current girlfriend, but it does NOT make them pedophiles or child molesters. Pedophiles are attracted to (and child molesters molest) CHILDREN, not 20-year-old women with boobs, breasts, and pubic hair.
The reason Mia Farrow, who herself once dated a twice-her-age Frank Sinatra, lost sympathy with people is not that people that a lot of people didn't think Woody Allen was a sleaze for running off with her adult daughter, but because she tried to imply he was therefore guilty of molesting his OWN 7-year-old daughter. Even if she believes it(or it actually turns out to be true), most men find this highly offensive. I could possibly imagine being seduced by my girlfriend's 20-year-old daughter (if she had one), but I would absolutely NOT molest a child, let alone my own flesh and blood. Guilty or not, there is some real anti-male hostility behind this and maybe a little jealousy too.
I don't approve of Woody Allen, and even less of Roman Polanski, but there is no evidence that either of them are serial CHILD molesters.
