Whats the perspective?

Im assuming that since the LGBT community is supporting this film that the perspective is anti-religion and pro-gay. Would that be correct? Has anyone seen it?

This is quite odd to me, because it seemed that for years the LGBT community wanted to bury Michael's story. Its never good for your cause when one of your loudest supporters suddenly changes teams. His story is one that could define the difference between being born gay or acquiring the taste for homosexuality over hetero relationships.

I suspect that if this is a movie getting support from the LGBT groups that his story is twisted around and shows him as some tortured gay soul who is faking it as a straight man or they will paint him as a fraud from the start, and act as thought he was just jumping on some gay fad as a young man.

Im very interested to hear Michael's take after seeing the film

They show him for the nutcase he was, you can't blow someone's story out of the water better than digging up some home truths about them. A bit like that 'good Christian' who refuses to issue gay marriage certificates yet has been married 4 times herself. Credibility is fickle.

Let's all pretend for the sake of argument that it's true. Why the *beep* do you care what people "choose" to do with their lives? Nobody is forcing you to be gay.

Even if people had a choice and picked being gay over being straight (just because they love being bullied, ostracized and assaulted for example) what business is it of yours or anyone else's to tell them it's wrong, judge them or condemn them for it?

Since he supported the movie, I think you'd be disappointed he doesn't share your views.

The LGBT community automatically support anything that has "gay" in it even if the content itself is not very gay..
