Any "new" footage?

Is there anything in this doc that hasn't been seen before? I hear there's a performance of Bobby McGee, which would be great, but most of the reviews I've read refer to footage that we've all seen before - the high school reunion, the Pennebaker "Cheap Thrills" stuff, etc. Anyone seen it?

There was a bizarre scene when Don Adams of "Get Smart" interviews Janis on stage just after a performance. No joke. She was very articulate with Adams, who played dumb.
And there were a few shots of Janis in a bikini in Brazil.
I'm a fan of her style and persona; in this doc, I was struck by how attractive she was.

I watched this documentary on cable. I really liked it!

I thought it was really good for many reasons.
It showed photos from her childhood, for example, and in the background there were narrations from friends and relatives who knew her in the past.
Also, the interviews were very fascinating (eg: w/ her sister).

I also liked the fact that this documentary described how Janis decided to start singing at a very young age in night clubs, and how people responded to her unusual singing voice.
The documentary also showed film footage from when her band first started, and then also when the band dissolved, etc.
Of course, it was great to watch (& hear) the footage of Janis on stage at her concerts.

In fact, I would love to re-watch this documentary again, because there was so much to "take in" all at once.

How to answer that question without knowing what you've seen there are recitations of letters she wrote to her family, interviews with her brother and sister. Those can't be all that common, surely?
