Does any COD game ever get the multi-player right?
I don't have Advanced Warfare, but I figured I might get an answer because of how dormant the other forums are. I have MW2, Black Ops, and MW3.
I've been playing MW2 recently and I can't believe how much BS there is with challenges, weapon unlocks, etc. Challenges cannot be unlocked until level 5 (This gets annoying after each prestige)? WHY? I can't use the RPG until LEVEL 70?? Prestige challenges can't even be attempted until Level 27 (I think) in that game.
Black Ops ALMOST got the multi-player right, it would have been nice if you could get all the unlocks in combat training (because some of us aren't pros).
Do any of the games get it right? Here's the list of things to get it right
1) All challenges are available from the start (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT).
2) Weapons/perks can be unlocked by paying for it using accumulated in-game points.
3) Full AI game mode for us noobs and different difficulty settings. Its not that bad. Any of you who played Perfect Dark for N64 know what I mean.
4) No automatic reloads or weapon switchouts. I hate when I'm empty and it switches to my big fn rocket launcher. It slows me down and attempting to switch back can get me killed.
5) Some of the challenges in MW2 are incredibly painstaking and yield only a pathetic amount of XP. For example, you only get 10,000 XP for calling in 25 nukes in that game. I've never even gotten ONE nuke.
