Ralph Takes A Bath aka Indian Summers

I'm hanging in there, trying to get engaged in the show, but I have to admit I've started doing the Sunday NYT puzzles while watching. However, it seems that every other time I look up at the TV screen Ralph's in the bathtub, being lovingly washed/caressed by his manservant. I'm exaggerating of course, but still...

Ralph doesn't seem to mind. Could it be that Cynthia (the Julie Walters character) urged him to marry in order to help secure the job of viceroy because she knows something about Ralph that we don't yet know?

And as a GWM, this is the most exciting part of the show each week. I wish I was his manservant!

Yes pvd295, it would be an intriguing development if it turns out there's even more there than meets the eye. As it is, I can't figure out Ralph's mistress -- or her brother -- at all. I guess I need to pay better attention!

Me neither since they are such forgettable characters.

It would be a better show if Afrin was the one bathing Ralph each week. They make an attractive couple.
