I love spy movies as a rule, but I found this dull despite the two attractive leads and the supporting cast. Not a lot happens and there is too much jumping back and forth between timelines. I was not expecting Jason Bourne, but I did want a drama that would hold my interest. This film failed to do it.

shareThat's because this is not a "spy movie." It's a drama about people who happen to be spies. Understandable that those looking for a typical "spy movie" would be bored. However if you go in with an open mind. . .
You realize quickly that it has all its own flaws. Which have Nothing to do with the fact that it's not a typical spy movie.
I was surprised by the things it did So well, and annoyed at the several ways it missed the mark, narratively. Ah well.
