shareHe deserved it. I tried watching this, but his character is incredibly distracting and I think that it is because it’s a role that is not a giod fit for him. They should have cast someone unknown or at least much less known

Hanks should be banned for life, from roles involving a Southern accent. Somehow, that brings out his absolute worst qualities.

shareHe's really overrated. Literally, the only reason why America decided that he was suddenly the "best actor ever" was because he played in the Oscar bait that was Philadelphia. It's so funny how no one ever talks about that movie today. It's like it doesn't exist. If he's such a brilliant actor, why does no one ever talk about that movie, which was the one that put him on a map as a serious dramatic actor?
