Yes of course black music influenced Elvis but so did other music growing up !
Going by the movie trailer , they may be going wayyyy overboard with the black music influence and box ticking throughout the movie !
They can't use any gay stuff to bring them to see the movie. So use black stuff to get them to go see it.
