BLM Elvis ?

Yes of course black music influenced Elvis but so did other music growing up !

Going by the movie trailer , they may be going wayyyy overboard with the black music influence and box ticking throughout the movie !

reply

Oh My Gurd, Elvis grew up around Black people????

How does this bother you now?

reply

The way it seems portrayed in the film is wayyyy over the top ! The scenes have it as if God himself was calling on him from the heavens !

I don't have a problem with his obvious black music influences .. Its the way its being portrayed in those scenes in the movie !

reply

Of course it does. 95% of top production biographies are that way.

It's a biography.

What a wonderfully stupid, empty response. Your attempt to derail the conversation has failed.

reply

I can see you're triggered.

reply

You talk just like a robot.

bee boop, bee boop [ -_- ]

If they say he wasn’t influenced it’s racist. I’d they say he was influenced it’s cultural appropriation and thus racist. Obvious racism is obvious.

reply

Surprised they didn't make him black.

reply

Haha

reply

He was as much influenced by folk/country music, as evident by the covers he did throughout his career.

BUT, the Great Reset demands the accomplishments of some be diminished while the minute accomplishments of others be exaggerated.

It's all about the feel-feels...

reply

Exactly !

reply

Elvis was really open about how a big influence on his music was black gospel music.

reply

BLM = Baz Luhr Mann

reply

So he was influenced. All artists are influenced by somebody who came before. Elvis often acknowledged that he was influenced. It's not a big deal.
