Nothing happened in this movie (Spoilers)

Let me start out by saying I really enjoy independent movies and am a huge fan of a large number of people in this cast such as Jake Johnson, Sam Rockwell, Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick and etc.

But what happened in this movie? I thought it was going places when Tim was finding all the bones and stuff. But he just put it all in a hole and buried it. Tim ends up having a great time with Brie Larson's character but they don't do anything. His wife is hooking up with Orlando Bloom. They then just meet up later on and are fine?

Sam Rockwell's character Ray starts yelling at Tim and storms off. We get no resolution out of that?

I usually love these type of movies and with this cast I thought I would really like this but I just wasn't a fan of this one.
