Carter had 2 shells. Shot one initially when the LF entered the house. The second when LF was upstairs and fell down the stairs as a result. Where did the dud come from?

I can't see a shot after that where they're unbroken though.
Don't know if you're looking at the wrong lens (as the glasses were upside down on the floor of the bathroom) - it's her left lens that's cracked.
She was wearing an intact pair of glasses as she was talking toward the end of the show.
