I'm quite picky when it comes to LGBT movies, but this one was amazing! The synth pop soundtrack, the characters, storyline, visuals,everything...just great. I'm considering buying the DVD and I hardly ever buy DVDs anymore it was that good. There's not one character that I disliked, but obviously Henry was the best character...he was so sweet! Despite a few depressing and hard to watch moments, this really was a nice feel good movie for the summer, so I highly recommend! By the way, the actress who played Henry's sister was really impressive.

Agree that this is an amazing movie - derivative and yet original at the same time. Can't agree about it being a nice feel good movie - many of the characters are too conflicted and depressing for that. I'm still trying to figure them out. The actress who played Henry's sister was indeed impressive. She was particularly entrancing in the scene in the car with her mother.

I was shocked at how good it was. Very nuanced.

I like how they showed the Christians are in a cult, but didn't make them stereotypes. Even the mean, judgmental woman seemed OK by the end.
