Better than expected

This was bad in every level to me. The story and characters action were unbelievable (lets not talk about that ending that didnt made any sense). The movie mainly focused on "cheap scares". They added a somewhat decent Indian story, but was very poorly developed and poorly executed, even the acting wasnt great neither. By the end, the "climax" felt rushed and anticlimatic and you end up asking yourself... "what they really tried to achieve?" it seems they tried or wanted to focused on atmosphere, story and suspense, but it failed delivering all of those. In my opinion this was just another Hollywood generic disaster.

There is almost nothing redeeming about this film. It's boring, cliche, predictable, poorly shot, bad uninteresting characters, witha plot 75% lifted from Pet Semetary.

I have to agree with the others, this movie was not impressive in the least. Yes, it looked ok, but the acting, minus the little girl, was sub par, which is sad as I have liked the male lead in some TV things, but he could have been not even in this movie for all his character was worth. I never saw Pet Sematary, but yes, this movie was predictable even without me seeing that movie.

The only high point was the little girl, she was the best actress and best part of the movie. I think she will be a popular star, and probably gorgeous when she grows up as well.
