I don't typically yell at my tv, but every once in awhile something happens and I can't help myself.

This movie had a moment like that.

The car is sinking, the little boy is terrified and in pain, screaming for help.

The mother angrily screams back "I'M SCARED TOO!!", as if super put out by her terrified child not thinking about HER feelings in this situation.

I mean, jesus christ, lady. At that exact moment, in that situation, put your *beep* big girl pants on and realize that *beep* isn't about you right then and there. Be the goddamn parent!

The mother's reaction is why I lost emotional interest in this movie. That entire scene should have been poignant, but it was not acted authentically. It also didn't seem like she tried hard enough to get back to the car.
