Her hair is nappy because obviously she has some African blood. Which doesn't really make her the best choice for the role since the parents are Caucasian.
shareAnd the ignorance begins. The little girl is Caucasian and her hair is just brittle and dry - which is normal for Caucasians who don't treat their hair. African blood is not the cause here.
shareActually I wont be purprised if One of her grandparents or great grandparents are Black. My daughter best friend is al most the same, blond and gray/Green eyes, her skin is white. Her mother told me that her daughter grandmother is Black Portuguese.
What a beautiful combination.
Her hair however was same as the girl but less matted. I suppose that the kind of look they are going for.

I know of some pale white girls with blonde hair & blue eyes & they have a black father (white mother). You don't have to "look black" to have black heritage.
sharethat still doesn't make them black. if you look white you are treated as though you are white, if you look black you are treated as though you are black.
