It's not like battlefield of COD. What's so fun about COD when all you do s run out and get killed. That franchise is super successful still. Battlefront requires strategy and you're playing as iconic heroes. It feels like Star Wars! It's amazing! And only more to come!

Because it's awful that's why, the first two battle fronts were some of funnest VGS ever, in fact I still play them from time to time, I must confess I don't have PS+ (Switched to SP4. but I have played the online campaign a little though, and it is better, but seriously four stinkin maps? 6 hero characters? not to mention Disney's refusal to use anything new in the Prequel timeline just because they are not as beloved of movies is idiotic. give us some new, sure the OT is better. but we've played those maps a thousand times before, and seen and played with Luke/Han/Leia. a million times over.
it makes me really sad Lucasarts was shut down, dumbest decision the studio ever made. I actually liked TFA. but Disney has completely dropped the ball on the star wars gaming department, and part of that reason is because they refuse to use anything outside of the original trilogy. the best star wars games ever took place in their own time line and had unique characters. (KOTOR, Jedi Outcast)

I agree, it really is a fun game.I was a little let down back when it was released. After a few months of not playing it I tried again recently and it was way more fun than I remembered. The only thing I don't like is how you have to spend an extra 50 dollars on the game in DLCs if you want the full experience.
shareI agree... Its the most immersive movie/game experience I have ever played. They took up to the last detail on capturing details we saw in the movies and made them available to all to play and explore. Whenever I have a chance I try to look around carefully to see stuff and nods to scenes in the movies and the details in some of the things there. I love Star Wars and find the game excessively fun!
But.....The thing I do not like at all its the Fighter Squadron mode. It has so much potential, yet they only have one friggin mode that is the equal to BLAST but with 40 players... Its so boring and repetitive. They need to do some other modes like maybe a bigger map with other missions like escorting a carrier, attacking bases, etc....
But overall I love this game. I cannot wait to see what they do in the Bespin and of course the Death Star DLC's....
They are fixing fixing the balancing for fighter squadron and The Death Star will have trench runs. No idea about attacking bases, though.
