superficial people don't care about a discount. it's more likely that those on the bottom care.

Thats what your issue was with her character. I was more confused with her hypocracy when she said she wanted to be in Fashion and wanted her designs to be in the store front windows of Barneys and whatever store. Whats more cliche and superficial than that? Would have been better if she said paris runways and the such, at least thats more for showcasing her work, rather than be in stores where only the select few can afford it.
