Where is Flap The Platypus?

Just watched the Trailer, which is absolutely awesome by the way... can't wait to relive my childhood on the big screen but I'm wondering why they left Flap out of the mix... I spotted Splodge, Marcia and Miss Magpie even though according to the cast list, they don't seem to be voiced...

And while I'm at it, Jacko, voiced by David Wenham.... since when is Jacko a frill-necked lizard? I could have sworn he was a Kookaburra, why on earth would they change something as trivial as that?
