Who remembers the Heidi from the Cartoon Network!

I for one, use to LOVE Heidi when it aired the first time on Cartoon network during 2003 (don't remember exact date). I also watched re-runs everytime it aired.

I so much liked the story that I also started to write it in a notebook in my own native language (Hindi). But I had to abandon the project when I realized that the show was already based on a book by Johanna Spyri!

What a simple yet so engrossing show it is. I absolutely would love to hangout with Heidi in the Alps, with Clara, Peter and his goats! I would love to roll myself down the mountain and would love to run blazing fast with fresh wind kissing my cheeks!

Just LOVE Heidi! Dying for this movie to come out. December 2015 can't come soon enough!

I assume you mean the Japanese version from 1974.
It's one of the most charming animes out there and was very big globally.

Yes, I absolutely meant that Japanese version.
And thanks for bumping this thread, its Dec 2016 now, life took over and I forgot that live action film was announced! :D

Just watched this version and even if it was good it felt rushed at times. Bc they were trying to fit an entire series into a 100 min.

Yes loved it have the whole animated series in my language(afrikaans) on dvd cant get enough of it and im 21 years old lol
