Horrible movie. It's 90% cheesy dialoging with no character development. A few scenes which are just "dramatic" but you don't sense the thrill, don't sense the danger, it's a fluke. It's not even a worthy piece of recruitment propaganda.
If you want an Afghan war-movie, see Restrepo and stay away from this poor excuse for screentime.
Really wondering what the point of this movie was. The first was a statement about the dumb *beep* an American Hero has to go through, but this seems to be just a direct-to-DVD (And I say DVD, because I doubt people that watch this *beep* have ever heard of blu-ray) title using the name for a massively optimistic attempt at making money.
Sad thing is, it probably has.
Excellent movie. Great cast. Lots of good action and beautiful scenery. I was at the edge of my seat in some parts.
sharePretty obvious most bad reviews about this movie are from CGI watching JJ Abrams loving little babies. Can't handle some real hardcore scenes. I ask them to stick to their Superman and Batman movies.

Oh and Restrepo (and Korengal) are documentaries with the emphasis on real soldiers in the field. I don't see what that has got to do with a fictitious adventure/war story. You should try to seperate reality from fiction.
Yeah some cheesy dialogue and some really bad acting and miscasting but the film works as a good blast em up war movie - forget the corny plot just enjoy the action.
Not a bad war movie at all - not quite up to the brilliant Lone Survivor but ive seen much worse - just watched Marines vs Zombies - now that WAS a bad movie!
