Colbert and Russia jokes

A couple things Colbert does that I find annoying (perhaps because I live in Europe):

It hurts my ears when he says "Pu'in" without pronouncing the "t." Not that I'm a fan of Putin's or anything like that, but it just sounds annoying.

"Do svidanya" is goodbye, not hello :-) I've seen several American comedians making this mistake.
