Biography of Xiao Hong?

There is a youngish man at the end of the film who narrates Xiao Hong's final days. He says he wrote a biography of her after she died. Can anyone tell me this character's name? And can anyone tell me if he really did--that is, did a real person by this same name write a biography of Xiao Hong soon after her death...?
