SPOILERS: Ending

The twist sucked, I really would had like to see Santa save the day instead of what happened. The twist ruined the movie for me.

It's very interesting how many agree with you about that. I sympathize with how you feel, because NORMALLY I am the one strongly complaining, who does NOT at all like it when at the end of a film they bring 'Reality' crashing down and kind of 'Ruin' the suspension of disbelief. That is why I frigg'n LOATHE all these supposed Horror films where all this weird, cool stuff is happening, and then at the end you find out that it was all just mental illness. I PHUK'n HATE THAT!!!

So, I am totally with you in principle and I THINK that I fully understand why you feel that way. However, in THIS particular case, I felt that it was done very well and fit in with the rest of the film. I mean, ALL the other stories were definitely Supernatural in nature, so to give us, the audience, a little 'Kick' at the end as a surprise I thought kind of went with the rest of the film.

BUT... with that said... a part of me still says, 'WOW that chick with the skirt, boots, and wool stockings was SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK'N!!!' Oh... uh, (cough...) sorry about that... Um, what I meant to say is that a part of me kind of really would like of have left the Santa part as it was and like you said had him go on then to kick the other Evil guys @sses.

Cheers! 

I now have over 7000 films; many of them very rare and OOP. I LOVE to trade. PLEASE ASK! 

I thought it was incredible. shocking, completely unexpected.

Wasn't that unexpected. The Santa story didn't fit with the serious tone of the rest of the film, it seemed so outta place. I thought it was corny, glad it got back to reality by the end.

the zombie elves fit with the story of the little kid demon
and the Krampus, well fit with the real Krampus story. so I think it did fit if it was real.
that's why it was so unexpected. out of the 4 stories it was the only one that was realistic (no paranormal stuff going on)

I must say I was drawn into the story, but just that story,..
and didn't see the twist coming,..and then you have Shatner,....kudos to all

I wouldn't say the twist ruined the movie, but it was a real downer.

If Santa's story had been played "straight", I would've rated the movie 7/10. As it is, I can give it only 6/10.

A Superman without trunks isn't worth watching or reading about.

I loved the ending, it actually made me like the movie even more.

Yeah, same here.

I think it would have fit better if you kept it with the Santa Story and the Radio station. Added a few more scenes. I just don't think the twist fit as well with the other stories.

I loved the twist at the end. I was convinced that the end would be finding out that Shatners character was a baddie. He kept on mentioning 'Susan' who I thought was going to have been killed by him or something! Far preferred the actual ending though as it totally took me by surprise. I actually enjoyed this movie all round!

I can't say I was surprised at all. IMDB does a good job of not showing that George Buza was Santa & the weatherman character, but anyone who looked closely enough at him towards the start of the film could tell it was the same guy. Based on his clear hatred of the holiday, when Shatner was talking about a "hostage situation" at the food drive where the weatherman was, it gave it away for me that the Santa story was all for show and not really happening.

That being said, that was one badass Santa. I stopped believing in that nonsense when I was 5 but man if he was real, this dude was wicked awesome. Not only was his Mrs. Clause younger and kinda hot, he was just hardcore and kicked some zombie elf ass! Favorite film Santa ever, even better than Bill Goldberg in that crappy slasher movie he played Santa as a murderer...blanking on the name of that film...Santa's Slay, I think.
