I see there's no shortage of sarcasm in this thread. In all seriousness though, Cage is one of the few actors who I've completely lost faith in. After being tortured by his last 5-6 films, he's clearly not even paying attention to the roles he's taking nor is he making much of an attempt to give an earnest performance.

Cage's mentality= accept all movie roles--> go through the motions on set--> cash paycheck and decrease debt--> repeat.

Perhaps I'm getting sick of Cage yet still enjoying Jeff's goofy charisma because Jeff is being more picky with his role selection (he's making ~1 movie each year now compared to ~4 for Cage). Plus Jeff's films have overall been better (I really liked True Grit and The Giver wasn't too shabby) whereas Cage's films are going straight to DVD.

Maybe Cage will one day revive his career, but right now it's looking like one of those ongoing Cuba Gooding Jr-esque slumps.

I don't think it'll make anything at the box office as it's straight-to-video is it not?
