It is a lot like Suicide Kings.
Kidnapped mobster.
Bunch of people who really have no idea of what they are doing.
Man abuses girlfriend, but the movie's bad guys teaches him a lesson (in Suicide Kings, it was dad who beat up his daughter, and Denis Leary beat the crap out of him).
I was thinking more Lock Stock.

Not even 30 minutes into it and I can totally see the connections.
the real estate agent is Ira
38 minutes in, and the gangster being nice to the kid is very much like Dennis Leary giving the abusive step dad a beating.
Did we realy watch the same movie? He was not the real bad guy... And then those things happen in so many movies, making "bad boys" a bit more human.

I thought it was an interesting story with some great dialogue and twists.
Suicide Kings was a great movie, time to see it again. Walken is the man.
Exactly my thought less than halfway into it.
Could've done much better than travolta.
Wasn't really bad but too many similarities.
Only original scene was with the poodles, which, by the way, was very disturbing.
Good Revenge story, nonetheless.
