Incredibly slow, lifeless, and boring

I tried to watch this and lost interest pretty quickly. I tried skipping ahead, and it just looked like more of the same. Is there any reason to give it another try?

The story is kind of a good karma-bad karma kind of thing -
It only held my interest bc I love watching the faces of Anton, Alia, and Zoey . . .

There were a lot of unanswered backstory questions - again another adaptation of a book...

Apparently, these movie maker's think everyone has read every book they decide to make a movie of and are terrified viewers will be bored with the
backstory ...?

Yet, they don't mind boring the other percentage of us who don't have time to read every
novel published - that's why we WATCH THE MOVIE!

If you are too sorry to watch the movie yourself why you think people are going to take the time to tell you anything? What kind of moron skips ahead in the movie?

I also can't imagine skipping ahead in a film, and I will watch even a snoozer like this to the end. But I can safely say you missed nothing at all. This feels like a parody of ... something ... if only it were delivered with a bit more conviction. 4/10 stars from me.
