'Tyler Perry's Neighbors From Hell' DVD review

By now, Perry has such command over the Madea character and his audience that he’s perfectly comfortable breaking character (and the fourth wall). The best bits in "Madea’s Neighbors From Hell" feel spontaneous, like Perry saying the word “untiform” (instead of “uniform”) by accident or making fun of a co-star’s ashy knees.

The rest of the cast is better at singing than acting, but they mostly acquit themselves well enough. The play is funny, but way too long because of pacing issues (scenes that drag on for way too long and ill-timed musical numbers).
