Ending reminded me of the movie "Georgy Girl" (**SPOILER-ISH**)

The ending of this movie (which I would rate 6.5 out of 10, BTW), reminded me of the ending to Georgy Girl, which came out in the 1960s.

At the end of the movie, Georgy agrees to marry a much, much older man whom she is not particularly interested in romantically but who has always been infatuated with her. Georgy sees marriage to him as a solution to holding onto her (not biological) baby and having a safe, "taken-care-of" life. In the car after the wedding, she remains totally fixated on the child in her arms, while the new husband sits next to her in awkward silence. One can only imagine what was going through his mind. No doubt, the reality of their first "married" moments together was not quite what he had envisioned.

I felt the same way about Felix/Meira. She is fixated on Elisheva, and God knows how Felix feels about having this baby around 24/7. I mean, I think Felix was envisioning romance to some degree--we don't even know if they've had sex yet, do we, by the time they are in Venice?--and I'm betting that the reality has left him a bit shell shocked.
