Bridge of Spies: A Mostly-Compelling Cold War Tale

With outstanding direction from Steven Spielberg, a mostly-compelling story, and a particularly excellent performance from Oscar winner Mark Rylance, “Bridge of Spies” is an enjoyable Cold War tale that manages to bring enough tension to its narrative to make it a worthwhile journey.

I also liked The Spy Who Came in From the Cold with Richard Burton in 1971. It was set in East berlin during the Cold War in the 1960's,

Its based on a John Le Carre novel. Its shows what a grimy business spying was. However, it was shot in black and white which means most people will refuse to watch it. The Berlin Wall plays a large part.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
