that's what I think of the people who are ragging on this show in retrospective love of warehouse 13, eureka and stargate....not that I didn't enjoy those shows. Yea, these are not oscar worthy performances, but neither were macguyver as interstellar explorer/miliatry hero and sheriff carter and hot hacker girl in tight pants (claudia wins everything, I love claudia, but let's not pretend they would have ever cast a middle age moderately obese woman in the role). They are all adequately enjoyable, the heroes are endearing when they should be, the villans are shocking when they should be. I tuned in (i.e. hunted a streaming source) every week for those shows, and now I'm binge catching up on this one. None of these shows are great art, no major emotional curveballs. even the moments of genuine shock fit into a traditional pattern in retrospect. you are not going to walk away from this questioning your personal beliefs and having to re evaluate your understanding of life or anything, but you will be entertained. dunno. it's all right. watch, in 5-10 yrs, syfy will put out another show (robots I bet) and people will be hearkening back to the good old days of olympus. seriously kids, it's just a t.v. show, you really should just relax. (google that if you aren't old enough to catch the reference, fiddle with the pronouns a bit). oh gosh, your whining bores me. get off my lawn. go watch viper(1996-1999) if you want to vetch about bad acting and special effects. and then cut your hair and get a job and thank George Lucas and ILM that you even *have* CGI. Shut up, turn on your imagination machines (i.e your brains) and enjoy the story.
