Yeah, that was a lot of buildup for a whole lot of nothing that he contributed to this reunion. He should have just stayed home.

He obviously didn't wanna be there. But he should have put a little more effort into his appearance, especially after Chris Rock's well thought and very nice introduction.
I think the bottom line is tho, that Eddie Murphy just is plain, unfunny. He's lost all of his comedic genius. So he had absolutely nothing to contribute.
