Things I Like About This Movie

Too many people on here have already pointed out the bad things of this movie (and I tend to agree with them). So, no need to repeat. Instead, I'm going to point out some good things that I like about this movie:

1. The performance and the attractiveness of the two actresses Cold Moon (Peng Ling - the fighter/"wife") and Xin Quing (Mika Wang - the school teacher/lover).

2. The fight scene between Cold Moon and Huo An.

3. The scene where Hou An visited Cold Moon in her quarter.

The idea of a Romans-Chinese conflict at the Silk Road is a movie plot with great potential, but the script writer and the director did not raise to the occasion.

Also, I wonder why is it titled "Dragon Blade"?

I'll play along with the positive-thoughts . . .

I kinda liked the funky almost-gothic colours & the way the flashback scenes interspersed throughout . . .

I thought Jackie looked great with a little eyeliner, sideburns and that goatee - for a minute I thought he was that georgeous Uzzio from Last Samuri . . .

ok - yep . . . that's about it . . .

- some neat Jackie stunts

- engineering study on rebuilding the wall with stone cribs and parging mortar overtop

- weird Chinese version of a Ridley Scott movie.

Toppling their cage over the edge was a very cool stunt.
