Tyler and his mom

Damn, if I talked to my mom the way Tyler spoke to his, I wouldn't have been able to sit for a week or two. I get he was frustrated with his mom for her drinking/pain pill addiction and her forgetfulness but the way he spoke to his mom was so rude. When I was growing up, I had to always talk respectfully to my mom and never mouth off or argue with her or else my butt would be on the receiving end of a very, painful whooping.
