Im usually dead inside and saw the beauty in this film. Go watch it

An entirely visual story, really a rare thing for anything high production in film, animation or not to get green light, that has no dialog.
Its a story of beginnings - middles and endings. Birth, life and Death. I can see how people who goto to a film to turn off for a bit wouldn't like it as much since you have to pay attention when there's no dialog.. It's all said through visuals and sound. But then again how could you not want to watch this visuals if your a fan of animation.. its really beautiful to look at for every single frame.

I thought it would be a background film while i played a online poker tournament, but found myself having to pause it and eventually watching it after i finished my game because it required a ton more attention than i initially thought to appreciate it.
So id advise not watching as background noise, go into with the mindset as if its full of dialog - you'll get allot more out of it.
What did you others think of this film? Reasons you didn't like it?

You might add a review to the review section. I find many are too gushing or too childish.
I rated it an 8. I was underwhelmed by the animation, but the direction and story were captivating enough, though desert island life was depicted way too idealistically. I liked the crazy turtle hallucination. I wish it had gone full on weird instead of sticking to an impossible reality.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**

I agree with you that it was incredibly visually stunning and that one should go in with a meditative mindset when watching it. The score and other design-related elements of it were great as well.
