Soooooo happy for Bam!!!

Run Bam run!!! Those kids will just follow your footsteps.... you're setting a good example and, exposing those grifter parents on camera was an awesome move.... I hope this producer girlfriend is the one that got him to do that .....anyway sometimes he's a buzz kill but I think he's just a realist and he was forced to drink a lot of the koolaid as a child and he should now, just start an awesome life and possibly send for Rain and get her into school before that pimp of a father sells her into sex slavery for another
skifff!!!

run and have a great life

I agree. Every time I see this show, I'm reminded that this is not a show about a family living in the bush, but a mini documentary on Stockholm Syndrome.

There must be some people on the crew and production of this show who have some scruples, and I'm guessing they're feeling pretty low at this point. If the girlfriend thing is true, without a doubt she snapped Bam out of his fathers trance.

I believe what we see on camera from Bam is genuine emotion, but not the kind they are trying to portray. He's in semi shock and depressed that he's thrown away the best years of his life, that Yosemite Bill uses his children the way he does, and that he has to leave his siblings behind in situation.

Nice call on the Stockholm Syndrome.

He'll be back, give it a few episodes. He's not going to walk away from the biggest, easiest check, that he's ever going see, while the clock is still rolling on his 15 minutes of fame.

These reality shows are so painfully predictable. I can still remember when Discovery was about; well, science, and actually discovering things....

I kind of expected the rest of the kids to follow him down the dock.

I thought the expression on Billy's face was somewhere along the lines of "All right, you ungrateful snot, go ahead and leave us when we have work to do, and screw you while you're at it". I'm sure he'll be back shortly, I don't see him walking away from the TV show.

Who's going to say "Respect the Danger"? It's not going to have the same gravitas coming from Bear lol.

Oh yeah, you could really read Billy and Ami's faces when Bam was talking. I hope for his sake that he doesn't come back. All the kids (for sure the boys) need to go and let Billy figure out how to do stuff without his slave labour.
