was not fought a "a couple of centuries ago" as stated by Vanessa Williams' character. This seems to confirm Carsen's fears about this government agency handling dangerous artifacts.

Probably, but she did say centuries. Kind of surprising that the script editors missed this especially since this episode included the equally ancient Antikythera clockwork mechanism.
