What did Lewis' husband show her on the screen?

He found something like a poster from a flea market or a thrift store and unfolded it. She said she loved it. However, I've watched the movie twice now, and I can't figure out what he was showing her. Anyone else know?

It was an Abba album. Not sure which one, but a one off joke about how she enjoys her disco music ;)

In the book it's not on LP, it's on 8-track tape!

Ahh! Thank you both!

I don't know why I find it so incredibly sad that the OP didn't know it was a gatefold sleeve vinyl album, and worse still they they didn't know it was Abba! I'm wondering if 40 years from now people will be shown CDs and blu rays and say 'what's that?'

Take it easy...

When was the last time you saw a Vinyl LP Record being sold at your local neighborhood supermarket. 20 or 30 years ago?

I read an article where some parents gave their kids a cassette tape, and a cassette player. It took them several minutes to get it going...

There are many young folks who have never encountered older technology, for one reason or another.

It has happened before, and it will happen again!

Ok, now you are just being ridiculous.

I grew up with Vinyl LP Records being sold new, I know of "ABBA", but I can't say if I have heard their music...

Some people state in IMDb, that they won't watch movies before 1995. Why would those same people listen to music before then either?

They are now commonly available at Best Buy and B&N, as well as many re-sale shops.
No, they're not as common as they once were, yet are hardly out of the public eye.
