I don't know if this was the script that got her to leave. She could have simply been ready to spread her wings and this could have been the first thing offered to her. *shrugs* just a guess on my part. I liked her on NCIS but Ziva definitely needed time to deal with everything she'd been through. Plus they left her departure open, giving her the option to come back at any time.
