The DoveKeepers On A Positive Note

I have read so many of the postings here that are negative that I felt it so necessary to post mine. Usually I can just ignore things of a negative nature as just the way people are and go on my way. Not this time. This is a time when even though my opinion is only that I felt it had to be said.
This movie is not for you if you are into the average movie you find on television these days. A temporary feel good movie. Or an attempt at comedy that barely gets a chuckle from anyone. Or maybe some of the totally morbid ones that are shown. I myself like movies that I think about later again with a feeling of happiness. Or one that makes me tear up at the pure beauty of the actors talent. A story that makes a lasting impression on your thinking in general. We don't find that kind of movie on Television very often if at all anymore. So it is rare when I see something that I enjoy to the level of writing about it.
This movie was inspiring. Not only because of the acting which was magnificent but because of the story line itself. Who cannot be inspired by a group of our ancestors who because of persecution decided to fight back for what they believed in (sound familiar ) and when they find that there is no way out decide to end it all their own way rather than let their loved ones be tortured and enslaved by the persecutors. These are real people who lived a real situation and had to deal with what was cast upon them. The Jewish people have been persecuted since Biblical times and will I am sure for many generations to come.
This movie portrays a true accounting of what happened at Masada. A true event. Some of it may be the Directors and Writers views but most is fact. I hope that many of you will give this movie a chance. Don't let the negative reviews keep you from enjoying a truly wonderful movie. It can still be seen on Primetime on Demand if you are with Brighthouse (channel 304)
If you are looking for a great movie with actors who really took the time to become involved in their character you will love this movie. And I hope you come away with the same feelings I did. I was so impressed by the true beauty of the film. The Actors, Director and Writer are to be commended. Bravo to you all for producing this truly remarkable film. They come far and few between and especially to television. Enjoy
