If you haven't watched this....

Don't. I finished watching this for everyone. And it was bad. Bad. BAD. No, bad doesn't even BEGIN to describe this mess. Had I known it was going to be a waste of 4 hours, I would have burned my DVR. The writing is pathetic, the acting not much better and word to the wise: Never drink water from a cistern.

I don't know who green-lit this but they need to be canned from the business. To start out with, the writing is just Gawd-awful. There is no coherent storyline other than people are trapped by a roman army and the trapped women will sleep with anyone. THAT is the plot. And pretty much the character development. There are a few side plots that mean nothing and go nowhere. Characters are introduced but there is no back story or development. The fight scenes pretty make everyone not Roman a ninja. And the 900+ people are essentially 30 people milling about screaming in terror and what is supposed to be dramatic story telling is just cutaways. A lobotomized monkey with one hand could have produced a better story than this crap.

If you have bought the DVD and haven't watched it yet, just re-gift it to someone you hate. It will be the ultimate revenge. I, having watched this, am either going to stick a white-hot knitting needle in my brain or drink rubbing alcohol. Anything to get this abortion out of my head.
