And to think, they cant bring much decent programming. Yet we know they have the potential, other than dr who and monty python. Its 2015 but I feel we are in the 1950's. The quality of programming is so far below average that it makes you wonder. We have stuff the like refugees and seeing its US version we can see the vast difference in quality. Not that most US shows are much better but heck look at Canadian shows. Seems they are the super powers of TV shows. They have consistently brought out pretty watchable shows with such a small talent pool. Heck all the top US shows are filmed in Canada mostly with Australian actors. Maybe the British are too busy dealing with the pedophile politicians to bother with other entertainment.

b/w set ? Humour :-)
There are plenty of good shows and each and everyone better than then the standard formulaic fayre presented in the US of detectives in Armani suits and women in designer dresses shoes and handbags walking about and contaminating crime scenes everywhere.
Give me Blue Murder, Inspector George Gently and Vera anytime pet.
